GENERAL
The Victory Hall Management Committee has been in consultation with a professional business advisor. We now have a 5-year Business Plan to market the hall's facilities, bring in new business and build new audiences. We aim to offer  more theatre, concerts, films, dance and literary events.

STAGE LIGHTING PROJECT
Our stage lighting project is now nearing completion. The purchase of two EVL moving head lanterns will mark the final stage of the project. We are currently applying for grants to make this possible.

LIBRARY LINK
The Library Link is now up and running on a manual system in the foyer at the Victory Hall.
To use Library Link you do need to be a member of the library and know your library number.
If you wish to join the library you can do so and be issure with a card immediately providing the manager is on site.
There is full instructions on how to use the Library Link in the foyer.
You can return any Cumbrian Library book to the hall and you can also order books personally or for reading groups providing they are in the library catalogue.
There is a good selectio of titles - use and enjoy.

FRIENDS OF THE VICTORY HALL
One of the ideas raised during consultation with the business advisor was the need for a group of reliable people to support the hall on a voluntary basis. This involvement could embrace many types of support. From front of house - serving refreshments -  learning how to use the stagelighting and sound or just generally making sure things and are running smoothly and the hall is secured at night during holidays when the manager is away from the village. If you would like to get involved by supporting the hall please make contact on 716908 and let us know. And of course if you are helping you will attend the event you are supporting free of charge.

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
The next AGM will take place on Monday 8th April 8 p.m. in the Green Room - It is open to everyone!

THIS IS YOUR HALL - THE MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR YOUR SUGGESTIONS AND WOULD CERTAINLY WELCOME NEW MEMBERS, PARTICULARLY FROM THE YOUNGER MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY. IF YOU WANT TO SEE ANY PARTICULAR EVENTS OR CLASSES AT THE HALL LET US KNOW. WE CAN'T GET IT RIGHT IF YOU DON'T SPEAK TO US.
